So I'll admit right away, I'm American, I don't fully understand what's going on here, how things work in Britain, and I'm just basing this on assumptions and the context I have from this video, but... What I understand here is that basically these Chinese Tourists had a legal contract IN CHINA that says nobody is allowed to upload videos with them in it, because they are, themselves, essentially copyrighted. I assume this has something to do with them being celebrities regardless of how popular they are, and so there's some legal thing you can do in China that says nobody else is allowed to upload videos with you in it, so that nobody can profit off your likeness. You know... the thing certain reaction RUclipsrs wish was a law. They then came to Britain, and when this video happens, they saw they were on camera, and they are basically 'China Brained', meaning they are so used to the idea of 'nobody else is allowed to film us' that they approach him and let him know that, trying to 'make sure he won't upload them to the internet'. He of course, tries to explain to them that, that's not how things work here, a legally binding contract you have in China about the legality of you being in videos uploaded by others, has no precedence in Britain, and because they were in a public space, he has the right to film, and if they are caught on camera, it doesn't matter, it's in a public space, and again, their legal agreement IN CHINA has no power in Britain. I feel though like he failed to properly explain that though, and it came across more like he was trying to say 'This isn't China I can do whatever I want' and 'You communists can't tell me what to do'. Not that I blame him, they, particularly the guy who despite this guy just standing there, making absolutely no motion to touch the girl, was going "Don't touch her, Don't touch her, Don't touch her" over, and over, and over, and over again... really weren't letting him fully explain himself even if he did get his thoughts together. And, I doubt that even if he did fully explain it in a reasonable way, that they would have listened. Likewise, I don't really blame the Officer like some of the other comments. Really, she had just heard their side of the story, so believed that he was saying the things I said like 'You communists can't tell me what to do', and told him he can't be saying things like that, he explained his side of things, and she basically was like, alright then... and left. I do applaud his patience, even if he was getting a bit heated and not properly explaining himself because he kept letting them interrupt him... but to be honest, I would have been like "I get that you have some legal thing in China saying that nobody else is allowed to film you, but this is Britain and the legal thing you have in China doesn't apply here. Here in Britain, it's the law that we can film in public. The laws are different between our countries" and if they still pulled the "That's the end of this conversation" and all that BS, I'd be like, okay, I don't have time for this, I'm going back to the piano and I'm going to ignore you people.
